August 2017. Bethnal Green, London.

Extensive architectural woodwork and carpentry. Including, kitchen fit, parquet strip floors, bespoke steps, storage bench and prefabricated under stairs cupboard.

March – July 2016. The Queen’s House, National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London.

As part of the renovations to mark the 400-year anniversary of Britain’s most architecturally significant building, we recreated the original Inigo Jones, quarter sawn oak board floors. I fitted and finished the new floors in the King’s Presence Room, Queen’s Presence Room and Great Hall Balcony. As a result of the clients delight with that work, we were invited to design and create a new floor to sit at the foot of the iconic Tulip Staircase.

2015. Whitegate, Cheshire.

Management and execution of large kitchen extension from foundations to finishing details. Construction of green oak framed roof replete with Scots pine ceiling panelling.  All internal carpentry, under floor heating first fix, stone floor installation, bespoke light fitting.

November 2014. The Victoria and Albert Museum. London.

Made and installed a prefabricated, removable and reversible parquet floor to compliment the Madame De Serilly Boudoir. http://collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O111424/panelled-room-rousseau-de-la/

July – December 2012. Levenshulme, Manchester.

Management and execution of extensive interior remodelling to Manchester red brick terrace. Removal of internal structural walls, installation of structural steel, relocation of back door, manufacture of bespoke Oak door and it’s framing and solid oak worktops.

July – August 2011. Pyrimont Chateaux, France.

Oversaw the selection and conversion of raw French Walnut logs into the components for 170 m2 of bespoke chevron pattern parquet. Completed the installation of sub-floor and finished floor.

Made and installed European oak parquet basket weave and ash sunburst flooring.

June – July 2008. Anfi Del Mar, Gran Canaria.

Managed off site planning and preparation and planning. Led a team of two joiners and two apprentices to construct sub-floor and lay 250 m2 of handmade floors boards.

May – June 2004 Chicago, Illinois.

Assisted two carpenters to install and finish approximately 160 sq. m. of handmade oak board floors in the former weekend cottage of Sears and Roebuck founder Richard Warren Sears.
